Innovative ‘Media Bar’ and ‘Contacts Bar’ add human touch to music experience
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is a S60 5th Edition device with a resistive touch screen and tactile feedback. The device has a large 3,2“, bright nHD (640 x 360 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio) color display. The device has variety of input methods: stylus, plectrum and finger touch support for text input and UI control (alphanumeric keypad, full and mini qwerty keyboard, handwriting recognition). Use the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic to connect to mobile broadband using WLAN or HSDPA (3.5G). Find directions and locations with the integrated A-GPS and included maps. Additional features include a 3.2 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, and USB 2.0 High-Speed. Supported WCDMA frequencies depend on the region where the device is available. The second 8 megapixel full touchscreen device on the market – Samsung M8800 Pixon finally saw its official announcement. After several reviews of the handset appeared yesterday, today Samsung finally held an event to publicly unveil it. We still don’t have the full official specs list however, we have a pretty good idea what the Samsung Pixon is all about. (more…)

The LG KC780 8 megapixel cameraphone is now officially confirmed, as we managed to snatch a press photo of the upcoming slider. We don’t have the specs of the KC780, but we know that it’s being touted by LG as the slimmest 8 megapixel phone to-date. That means it has to be slimmer than 13.8mm to qualify and beat the Samsung M8800 Pixon. (more…)
